๐ Curriculum Vitae
I am a physicist and researcher specializing in high-energy and time-domain astrophysics, with a particular focus on gamma-ray bursts (GRBs), relativistic jets, polarimetry, and multi-messenger phenomena. My work combines physical modelling, instrument simulations, observational data analysis, and reproducible scientific software to investigate transient sources across the X-ray, gamma-ray, and very-high-energy domains.
I am currently a researcher at the INAF Astronomical Observatory of Brera, where I work on the COSI mission under the project โCOSI: Simulation and Data Analysis of Relativistic-Jet Emission.โ My research focuses on simulations and analysis methods for MeV observations, the modelling of GRBs, and the use of gamma-ray polarimetry to constrain the physics and geometry of relativistic jets.
Before joining INAF, I was a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Trieste, where I developed data-driven large-sample studies of GRB afterglows and X-ray flares. I also contributed to the MAGIC and CTAO-LST1 collaborations through transient operations, including responsibilities as a Burst Advocate and Gravitational-Wave Expert on Call.
Data-Driven Analysis of GRB Afterglows
Developed a model-independent method for Swift XRT data to identify universal patterns in GRB light curves and probe phenomenological correlations.
